    Hello,

I'm having problems using two CineS2 with two CI-interfaces connected to those cards.
    Via DVBCineConfig I configured card 1 to use CI-interface 1 and card 2 CI-interface 2.
With this configuration even free channels can't be shown on the second CineS2 (no matter if using Tuner 1 or 2 of this card) - always the error message "cannot create graph" shows up!

As soon as I disconnect the second CI-interface from the system and reconfigure via DVBCineConfig to use the remaining CI-interface for all 4 tuners, everything is working perfect.

Please find attached a set of logs, recorded with only 1 CI-interface and a set of logs with the error condition.

The log files have been recorded, using Manual Control within TVServer Configuration. I selected a free channel ("Das Erste") and one tuner after the other and started timeshifting. In the error condition, 3rd and 4th tuner showed the error.

Many thanks for the great work you already did on the descrambling topic (and on MediaPortal in general)!:D

I changed the function to add CI device to graph. Please try the attached .dll (make backup of old, replace it inside tvserver path).

Test all your combinations, create and add logfiles and post your results :D

Many thanks for the fast response!!!

I tested the provided DLL, but unfortunately it didn't worked. Now every combinations results in error.

Please find attached two logs recorded with the patch (one CI and two CI's) and two logs recorded with the original DLL, but mapping all available tuners to either CI1 or CI2.

If there is anything more I could provide - I will!

sorry, no success! This version shows the same behaviour as the original one.

Each time I'm using a tuner bound to the second CI, graph building fails.

    hi, I have a digitaldevices cine S2 v5.5. with the .34 driver.

Do I need this patch for watching FTA channels, beacause I get sometimes "can't play live 3.0 buffer" or something when start watching tv (with a standart 1.1.0 final installation).

install == use the binary setup (exe.zip)

patch == apply them to source code and compile your own build (use TortoiseSVN)

so I think 1st options is what you are looking for

I will install my new Cine S2 with CI this weekend on my MP 1.1.0 final installation.
The installation instructions in your first post are not clear for me. Do I need both files or only the Setup-TVEngine-svn-1.1.0.final.exe? Does the installation of the .exe need a complete unininstall of the original TVEngine or could it be installed over the original?
How to proceed for the patch file? What does it mean "apply them to source code and compile your own build"?

Excuse me for these kind of basic questions but I'm not a big specialist:oops:

    hi,

please install MediePortal with MP 1.1.0 and configure with your Choices and download this TVServer Version from the first Post and upgrade your installed Mediaportal with this Version.

Your installed Version from Mepo is updated only not deinstalled and new installed!!!
You don`t need this Patch File from the first Post, this is for Developer.

Make a Channel Scan and have Fun.:)

I hope this is the right thread to post this question: I have a cine2s and installed the patch as well on a server client environment. The server is running WIN7 and is up 24/7. Every night I have the problem, that the CI is not working anymore - once I restart the Server it is working fine. I only have problems with the decoding, all FTA channels work fine.

Is it something general I am missing?

I am not at my HTPC, but happy to post logs when I am home on the weekend.

Thank you very much for your help!

    Sebastian
