install == use the binary setup (exe.zip)

patch == apply them to source code and compile your own build (use TortoiseSVN)

so I think 1st options is what you are looking for

OK, first I only wanted to know if its generally possible with this card

Today i have tested again with your new Patch and MP 1.1 Final (Win 7).

TV Karte: Digital Devices DuoFlex S2 PCIe with Ci Modul, Driver: 1.4.5.57


Problems:

1. TV Server Setup: Channel Scan works for both tuners

2. TV Server Setup: Accessing the ci Modul only works by one Tuner.

3. Watching TV works for scrambel and unscramble channels, but after a few minutes the screen hangs. Then i stopp the playback and start again a channel, works but after a few minutes the screen hangs again.

4. Recording: Recording only works for 2 minutes. Its not possible to view the actual reccord at the actual point. The the screen hangs.

5. Recording one channel, watching another: Sometimes it works but have the same Problem, the screen hangs after few minutes. Sometimes a get the message, Graph could not start.

6. Recording two channels: Same Problem as described in Point 3 for both reccords.

please try following things:

- Disable the DVB-EPG grabber
- Set CAM Limit at each card to 1

Do some testings as before. If this won't help, I can't do much else from code side (maybe also different driver versions might help).

You might try using another pcie slot.

When I upgraded driver from 28 to 57, I had to move the tunercard from a pcie16 to the top pcie1 otherwise I had no signal anymore.

Ok i have tried this, at the beginning it seems to work, but after ca. 15minutes i have the same problems like i described in my first post
I tested it also with older drivers but then the ci Modul was not been detected and i have the same problems. Only with .57 the ci Modul works.

Now i will contact directly DD and describe the problem, perhaps they would have an idea.

Work the DuoFlex by someone here with MP?

Would this patch also work on The mystique version of the DD card ? (Mystique SaTiX-S2 V2 CI Dual)

Having problems with PMT's and was hoping that the "service id"-fix in this patch would help.

Hello,

I'm having problems using two CineS2 with two CI-interfaces connected to those cards.
Via DVBCineConfig I configured card 1 to use CI-interface 1 and card 2 CI-interface 2.
With this configuration even free channels can't be shown on the second CineS2 (no matter if using Tuner 1 or 2 of this card) - always the error message "cannot create graph" shows up!

As soon as I disconnect the second CI-interface from the system and reconfigure via DVBCineConfig to use the remaining CI-interface for all 4 tuners, everything is working perfect.

Please find attached a set of logs, recorded with only 1 CI-interface and a set of logs with the error condition.

The log files have been recorded, using Manual Control within TVServer Configuration. I selected a free channel ("Das Erste") and one tuner after the other and started timeshifting. In the error condition, 3rd and 4th tuner showed the error.

this looks like a real issue in graph building: currently it's only tried to connect the CI once, but you have two of them. And because the CI's are linked to specific tuners, the 2nd will fail with the 1st CI.

I'll check the code ....
