please try to map the CI only to one tuner, reboot (!) and test again with a scrambled channel.

there are only few CAMs that can be used for multi-tuner decryption.

Tested, same thing. I even disabled the other tuner and testad. Same result.

Do you know which CAM's who can do that? Is it the same all over the europe?

I have one DuoFlex with Oktopus and CAM reader.
My CAM is an Astoncrypt Viaccess (for CanalSat France) and it work ok (also two channels simultaneous)

Test results with MP 1.1.3.0 and modified TV-Server from first post:

I have a connection to Mystique (Digital Devices) and they know the Problem with Hybernate.

In a "standard" windows 7 installation the energy-parameters are generell NOT good for the HTPCs.

Because: In Hybernate windows take away the power supply from the pci-express and when the system re-awake,
the Problem is, that the card should be re-initialized, but windows doesn't do that and then the connection to the card doesn't go.
(windows takes the status from the card bevor hybernate, but the status has changed -> problem)

there is NO error by MP, there is a problem by DD.

I have solved the Problem by changing the energy parameters in Win7:

Energieoptionen -> Erweiterte Energieeinstellungen ändern -> PCI Express -> Verbindungszustand-Energieverwaltung ->

Einstellung: AUS !!! (Damit bleibt die Stromversorgung aktiv und alles läuft super)

TEST OK

TEST System: Win7 x64 SP1 with Mystique_SaTiX-S2_Dual-2.1.0.30-x64 (very important to use that driver)

Hybernate and Recordings automated with power sheduler are OK.

gernerell Information:

Tuner A and Tuner B enabled, CI Module enabled on BOTH cards in the Mystique driver.

TV-Server config:

CI in both tuner enabled, limited: 0, module: alphacrypt 2, DVB-S, allow card to be preloaded: NOT activated

Test is going on and i will report in a week again.

It would be nice, if MP chanced the parameter by installation from TV-Server.

i thought that "allow card to be preloaded" is the same as re-initializing the card, this would be a solution, re-initilalizing the card after standby / hybernate. what does that parameter?

    Hi there,
    I got two questions:
    a)
    would you upload an 1.2.0 build once the beta is out?
    b)
    I'm running an unsupported setup at my home. Instead of one CAM per tuner (that was long before the octopus card was released) I decided to install a dedicated smardtcard reader on my router.
    That was complicated, but after a month I got it stable and working.
    What would happen (compared to a regular build of MP) if I use yours and register a specific filter.
    Does your build react the same way the regular build does or do I need to change my setup
    from the scatch?
    Hope you understand.

    Hi there,

    Im using an octopus card with 2 x dual dvb-c, 1 x dual dvb-s and a ci module. Everything is working perfect. Im running on latest SVN 27688.

    I recieve most of my dvb-c channels FTA but the HD channels needs a subscription so i decided to try out the CI slot and bought an irdeto CAM and the hd subscription smart card. I have enabled the CAM on only one tuner and mapped the HD channels to that tuner. In the tvserver "manual Control" section i then timeshift one of the encrypted HD channels i it show as "scrambled no" and the tuner locks but i have MASSIVE discontinuities :(

    I have 2 FTA HD channels on dvb-c also and they work with no problem.

    Also the cam with the smartcard works just fine in my LG plasma tv

    Any idea what could be wrong? My tswriter looks like this:

    Hypernate and Standby work correctly by changing the energy-paramater telling me in the post before.
    Test CI-Cam: TwinCAM Alphacrypt IC

    Problems with other CI Module named TwinCam GigaBlue

    There some encryption works, and some doen't ...

    The difference between these cams are, that alphacrypt IC supports only ORF etc ...

    and

    the other Module supports most all avalaible encryption ... also HD+ (for RTL HD and so)

    Important Information!

    There are Problems (timing -> system freezes at any random time) with the new Series from ASUS Motherboards (H67/P67) with the TV Card from DD named Cine S2 or Mystique Satix S2.

    I sell these cards in ebay and change to the octopus card (is not as cheep) because the new DD driver are testet and originally made for the Octopus variant. there are no problems with timing. the tv server works great.

    If you have a older generation of motherboard (older chipset) the other cards work also propperly.

    (that information comes directly from the programmer from DD)

    i had these problems and can aproove these information after 2 weeks of tests.

    Important if you install a new tv-card driver, that you shut down the system and remove the power supply for a short time.
    so the tuner will be reinitialized compleatly new (maybe helps)

    CI in driver is activated? (maybe try to connect a ci only to one tuner in the driver -> you must restart if you change it)

    CI in TV-Server is activated?

    FIXED.

    Turned out the cable i was using from the octopus card to the CI was too long. min was 35cm. should not be more that max 20cm. using a 5 cm cable now and it works with no problems now.

    CI is activated but it's not possible to reach the CI Menue in TV Service. If I zap to a scrambled channel I become the message "channel is scrambled".
