Direct internet streaming with home screen item (1 Viewer)

Hi All,

I just moved from XBMC to MP and like it quite a lot. As am quite new into MP I am looking for how to place a home menu item in the home screen, which opens directly an mp3,ogg,etc Internet Radio stream (i.e. PlayMedia('mms://sfera.live24.gr/sfera4132'). Can someone tell me how to realise this and which files I have to touch ?

Indeed works. Thanks for that...! But still prefer the menu item style where I can also a nice image of the radio station. Any good guideline to recommend?

Hello and Welcome.

It's not immediately obvious, but internet radio (web streams) are set up through TV Server. It's not a direct launch from the home screen, but rather a radio section (just like TV and Music) where you can have links to each stream with a nice logo. Hi,

thanks for your suggestions, but I am looking really for the 1 click solution out of the Home Screen. Hmmh.
I thought that there would be a way by customising the Skin files...

We'll see. Probably there is another solution out there.
