I have a video that worked in Media Portal when I was using a XP box. I updated my System to a new HTPC and now 1 video of about 500 will not work. I am looking for suggestion on what to check or change to make things work a bit better.

If I am outside Media Portal the video plays in Media Player 11 perfectly on the Media Portal Computer. In media portal the video will start to play but after a couple second the video will freeze but the audio keeps playing. This is one single video. Everything else still seems to work fine. I was just hoping to avoid recreating the AVI file if I could.

I belive the XP box had media portal 1.0 without any updates.

Everyone will likely attribute this to a codec issue. Instead of K-Lite they will suggest you use SAF which has been put together specifically for MP users to almost guarantee all video files will play. You may want to consider trying it out.
