Hi guys. I jettisoned my ATI TV Wonder Pro PCI (was just easier to buy a Hauppage card!) and I have MP working *mostly* the way I want, however, I'm having one major problem left. I am trying to build the connector to control the DTV receiver I have (D10-100) but I have no idea if the controller has the correct wiring, since it doesn't work. I've turned on the extensive logging in the plugin, but I'm not even sure which log file it's written to.

Would someone be willing to point me to the correct post or possibly help me get this going?

Thanks.

Hi elektrik,

Have you visited http://www.dtvcontrol.com/page.aspx?content=cable yet?

It has the pinouts and might help with your quest to create a cable.

You can also use the control utility to see if any data is being sent from your PC to the receiver.

Good luck!

Hi-thanks for the quick answer. I whipped out my multimeter and created the cable (the one I was using reversed the wires, so I had to splice and solder...)

I am able to control the DirectTV tuner now....sort of! It seems the directtvtune.dll plugin isn't working-either that or I set it up wrong. When I setup media portal initially it only "detected" channel 4 (the channel my directv tunes to) but when I try to switch channels using my zap2 it plugin, I only get a blank screen...

Any more help would be appreciated-I'm getting close!
