DirectX 9 and MP11? (1 Viewer)

MediaPortal Version: 2.0.3
Windows Version: 64bit Win7 Home
CPU Type: Phenom X4

When I go to install MP, it "detects" that "DirectX 9.0c" and "Windows Media Player 11" are "missing" and will be installed. And there is no way to uncheck those items.

Both would be a ridiculous DOWNGRADE. Will MP not work with DX11 and MP12?

Wow, that was quite a while ago.

IIRC, when I didn't receive a reply, I backed up my computer and went ahead and installed anyway. Best of my recollection, nothing was effected. DirectX does not allow "downgrades", so either the installation failed or Media Portal simply refused to work upon installation.

Either way, I never got it to work.
