I do have Vista, but the FAQ says: "This is not an issue with MediaPortal but with the chipset itself as Windows VIsta users do not suffer this issue."
    What now?

    I do not know then.

With the XP versions, it has to do with the FLIPY function which produces reflections in the MediaPortal skins. The forum thread that is in that FAQ contains modified skins (page 3 or 4 onwards)that have it removed which stops the freezing and those errors. Also it appears that most VIsta users do not have this freezing problem. Maybe they still get the error though. It maybe worth while posting in that thread to see what response you get.

Do you get the screen freezing but still can hear the key actions?

It must be something different. I don't have those lockups. The problem only occures afer resuming from standby, and only if live tv was turned on when i send the maschine into standby with my remote. The result after the wake up is that live tv is dead and i get lots of those error messages in the log file. The funny thing is, that a few other parts of vista are also effected. For example, Internet Explorer lookups and and i can't even kill it.
But keep in mind, this only occures if tv was switched on when the system enters standby! No problems, if i stop live tv and then hit the standby button on my remote.
