Sorry if this topic has already been covered. Have done a search and can't find much.

Anyway just wondering if there is a trick to remove the "Big Jump" functionality when watching movies. My remote is over sensitive on the Pad and sometimes a left or right movement causes a up or down. I removed the functions from the Setup area but it still happens? Any ideas?

Cheers.

    it would be very helpful if you let us know what remote you have (-;

    i'm afraid that the "arrow-keys" are handled by the OS, meaning windows, which would make it impossible to change.....

    maybe it would be possible to remove the move up and move down actions from the global keymap, but this woul also make the navigation in the menues pretty "unhandy" if you know what i mean (-;

    Yep I have a IMon Pad. Love it!! Being able to turn the PC on from remote with no special settings is awesome too. But the pad is over sensitive. So that's why want to remove the Big Jumps. I deleted the entries for "Big Jump Forward" and "Big Jump Back" from the settings under "Keys and Sounds", "Windows", "Fullscreen Video specific actions" but it still happens?

    like i said, if windows is dealing with these buttons, theres not much you van do. try if you an use the arrow keys within windows to navigate...

    Yeah I heard what you said but I don't see what windows controlling the keys has to do with what MediaPortal interprets the keys to be??

    Ok windows handles them as arrow keys but why is it not possible to tell MediaPortal when in fullscreen playback to do nothing on up arrow and down arrow??
