Is there a way to disable and enable powerscheduler from within MP instead of having to use the MP configuration utility?

I sometimes watch blu-ray using powerdvd and I don't want to have to shut MP down in case it needs to record. However, if i leave it runningit puts my computer into standby due to powerscheduler.

Thanks

Not using the ordinary powerscheduler that is used with the inbuilt MYTV module.

If useing TVE3 you can specify disable suspend whilst certain program\proccesses running.

PVRScheduler also has this ability with either TV engine, but of course requires a donation to download.

The easiest way to solve your problem is don't leave MP sitting on the home screen. Any other screen will allow MP to handle any scheduled recording but won't allow powerscheduler to kick in. When you're finished using the PC, put MP back on the home page and powerscheduler will then timeout and put the PC to sleep.

Now the only problem is remembering to change from the home screen. Guess how many times I've forgotten that minor detail!:D
