Diseqc motor to go with TBS6984 - what should I get? (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I have decided to upgrade my single DVB-S2 card one of these Quad Tuners by TBS.

I am going to be attaching three of the tuners to my main satellite dish pointed at 28.2e but I have a spare satellite dish not doing anything that I am going to use to see what other channels I can pick up but rather than fix it on a single satellite, I want to experiment with a Diseqc motor.

I have never owned one before and know very little about them, other than I read that the New Horizon NH-210 is getting some very good reviews at the moment.

I would be really grateful for some advice on what I should consider.

My experience with TBS6981 dual tuner is that it was (1 year ago) 3 seconds slower with encrypted channels change than a digital devices cine s2 v6.
FTA channels made no difference

Hi there,

I will only be viewing FTA channels, so channel changes will not be a problem.

Do you know whether that card shall be fully compatible with that Diseqc motor in mediaportal?
