I'm using my system as a desktop pc and as a htpc as well and depending on the use, I have a different windows account/profile which for htpc use I stop a few extra services, anti-virus, increased sound volume, etc
I'm doing this with a batch file in my startup folder for htpc use and now I was wondering if there would be a possibility to also change the display setup.

My system cannot use dualview so either the signal goes to the tv-out or the DVI/D-sub connector.
Does anyone have a clue if there is a way through a batch file to switch between these 2 outputs?

    Thanks a lot in advance!
    Peter.

I suggest you two apps. They have helped me so much... the first is MacroRunner http://www.closetosoftware.com/?s=macrorunner (you can also download the latest beta with vista like interface and new features) and for switching displays i use UltraMon http://realtimesoft.com/ultramon/ with Ultramon you can create a shortcut to launch the display you want and then call this shortcut from MacroRunner or your bat file...
