Display subtitles form foroms.com? (2 Viewers)

I can't get the subtitle function working. Did a reg af foroms.com, stripped my user ID from the string and put it in the configuration section of MyTVseries. Is there something more to do besides that?

Can anyone (who got subs working) please explain what steps he/she took?

I didn’t realized you could do this so i created a forom account and it works like a charm on my setup.

finds the SRT file on foroms and download it to the folder the tv episode is located.. and its work right away..

I use FFshow to display subs, and you have to tell FFshow that it shall auto show subs..

when the tv episodes is playing is FFshow in your task manager? if so try right clicking on it and enable subs and se what happens

I could not get this to work either. This log basically is me trying to grab subtitles for big shows that ive checked excist at the site(like ghost whisperer s3). What happens is i get two search boxes that has 'series name'+'season number' pre-typed. Doesnt matter what i insert. I get no subs

I also tried from within MP and nothing happened.

btw why does it do everything twice? that cant be right?^^

edit: putting it in "code quotes" messes up everything. Ill leave it like this.

edit2: I forgot to mention what version I use, ill check it when I get home. Think I'm using Tv-series SVN from 5 days ago or something. And some SVN after stable rls on MP. Ill get back with the correct numbers later.

The duplicated log messages was a bug of the configuration dialog, it's been fixed not long ago.
As about why it doesn't work, the ID you provided isn't the proper one.
It seems you provided your forom login (Darqster). That's not what's needed for the subs download. Instead, once you're logged in, go to "your account" on the left (Rubriques / votre compte in french), and take a look at the provided URL:
http://www.forom.com/index.php?c= (this is the ID you need to use) &gl=1

enable subtitles

i can't manage to get any subtitles for episodes.

i've set the forom settings as follows:

forom base url: http://www.forom.net/documents/
forom id: p108a109q115t106j123u106o62p62p57f111m120m108m103j103c102y8197 (FROM settings page)

and check the "enabled" checkbox

i've also checked the enabled checkbox on the series sub checkbox: SeriesSub.com - Sous-titres de séries TV

when i'm right clicking an episode, get subtitles , nothing happess. (not even a log enrty).

btw, a nice feature will be to download subtitles for whole season.

any ideas?
