Get an odd 'band' of distortion at the top of videos no matter what I'm playing. (See below)

It happens when there's a lot of movement going on in the frame (camera is moving, generally lots going on etc)

Have tried all the various renderer and codec settings. Am starting to think its just that the integrated video on the mother board (Asus P8H67-M) is just not able to keep up. So my next thought is to go try a cheap video card instead of the integrated video.

If anyone had any thoughts before I go drop some cash, I'd appreciate it. Any ideas?

Try and see if another driver\codec fixes it, it does look distinctly like "tearing" is happening for you.

What graphics does your pc have also which filters.

We recommend the LAV filters for all formats

Try to enable V-Sync in your video card driver settings.

Thanks for taking the time to reply guys.

Display Adapter is listed as Intel(R) HD Graphics Family

I've got LAV filters set across the board, have tried the Microsoft DTV - DVD video decoder and older MPC Video decoder, no difference.

Found the vertical sync and set it to enabled, no effect.

First thing I would try, see if there is a bios update, if there is, then check if there are any updates for your other hardware, especially relating to cpu\gpu.
