Hello,

I really do love my MP2 installation, and it has been working flawlessly for months. I have a Hauppauge Colossus capturing analog hi-def video and audio from my IPTV settop box.

All was working great until I got into a cleaning mood for my Win10-64bit PC and deleted my DIVX software because I didn't think I was using it or wanted it. Well my TV audio quit working right after that. I tried reinstalling DIVX which didn't help. The video for all my channels still works fine, just no audio, and I searched the MP config tool as well as the TV Server config tool and couldn't figure out where to fix it. Any thoughts?

Thanks, All.

    Hi Mike,

There is no MP config tool. Audio settings are done from with the MP client.

Check out the settings section and look for the codec part. Unless you were not using a different codec, DivX was probably selected but got cleared when you uninstalled it from your system. Reinstalling will not restore the codec reference in MP2 and you need to set it manually to DivX (or whatever you prefer).

    Thank you, Sourcer,

Two points of clarification: 1) I'm delusional. My version of MP is MP1.12.0 not MP2. 2) All my other MP sound effects and audio playback of music, for example, are working fine.

I tried changing codecs in the Settings directly from the client with no luck.(

Nevermind...I kept trying codecs and go one to work! Thanks for all the moral support, everyone. :)

Which audio codec are you using?
Other than that check that MP is not muted while playing a video (via windows mixer).

And if nothing works you should upload your log files. :)
