Do all MCE remotes work with MP? (1 Viewer)

This is the exact model remote (I brought three of time) that I have problems with under XP Professional when using the blaster functionality and IRSS, basically port 2 (it has two blaster ports) works fine when blasting to a STB etc., however port 1 just does not work. Forgot to add that it includes also a IR receiver to control set-top boxes.

I got the blasters working with XP. I had the same initial problem with blaster port #1 led not blinking, and when using blaster #2 the Ir signal was never recognised.

I installed LM Remote KeyMap to get the blasters going. This also allowed me to remap the home key to launch mediaportal when mediaportal isn't running.

PS - Prior to installing LM Remote KeyMap on my XP computer, i pluged the remote into my vista computer and isntalled lm remote on that too, i'm not sure if that step reset the hardware at all.

I have found mine as standalone at Mediamarkt. Got it for 15E. It is called PCTV MCE Remote.
