    Okay, Sony have just announced they're not going to use the downscaling thing on their Bluray titles if you don't have a full HDCP path between your player and TV. So that's Sony, at least... And after they went and did the whole Rootkit too :?

    Personally im not going to touch the HD discs until they have been completely cracked just like DVDs, in which case you wont need a HDCP capable TV.

    I really hate all this DRM crap, its hard enough to get a HTPC to work smoothly without it....

    Is there a way to test HDCP support of my system? Both the mainboard and projector are said to support it, so I'm curious to verify that.

    Wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't work....
