First, awasome plugin, works great for all my other series.
Except, Doctor Who (2005) won't work. For those that don't know the series, Doctor Who first started around 1960's and had about 26 seasons before it came to a halt. Then in 2005 they started again with Doctor Who but instead of beginning at season 27 they just called it season 1 again. The problem is, I can manually add every episode fine, but on autoscan it won't recognize unless I remove the episode names, then it recognizes it as the old Doctor Who series.
I use a correct filename I belive, it just won't recognize them.
Doctor Who (2005)\Season 1\Doctor Who (2005) - 1x01 - Rose.avi which is the first episode of Doctor Who 2005.
Anyone got any idea?

    Hi,

Hate to say this, but it works fine for me. I just call them "Doctor Who" and miss out the (2005).

I'd never even thought/worried about this before. Let me know if it helps.

Allright, I'll give it a shot.

    Doesn't help unfortunately, renamed it to Doctor Who\Season 1\Doctor Who - 1x01 - Rose.avi but it doesn't recognize it.
How do you have your serie named?

Just added mine on new install, they are all in one folder "Doctor Who (2005)"
Typical filename "Doctor Who - 1x01 - Rose" and they all parsed fine, only the Xmas specials don't.

ok now rename specials to "Doctor Who - 0x02 - The Christmas Invasion" etc, now parsing fine.

    List of specials here

I now have the exact same as you do, the folde is "Doctor Who (2005) and the filenames are just as you have them. In the parsing test they all show up, but in the series overview I don't see them. It doesn't ask me for anything neither.

Could it be a skin related issue, since i'm not using the default skin but Monochrome?

    I have mine as follows:

    Pre-2005 episodes:

    /Doctor Who/Season11/Doctor.Who.S11E03.avi

    2005 and later:

    /Doctor Who (2005)/Season1/Doctor.Who.2005.S01E01.avi

    etc.

They all parse OK, except for a few of the specials that I had to use manual import for. One weird thing though, Season 4, episode 8 (Silence in the Library (1)) won't download or use and episode image. I even tried taking a snapshot and naming it correctly, but it still won't display in the episode list.

Well that's just strange... maybe I should just reinstall mediaportal, hope that solves some problems.

In the parsing test they all show up

And do they then import correctly and show up in the TVSeries details pane.

I've got a feeling you are using a old version of MP, you should be on MP1.0RC1, possibly with a newer svn installed to support the skin your using, can you confirm please, as this has got to do with your other post.

    Thanks

Well I believed I was using the latest version, MP1.0RC1, I installed it a few days ago and everywhere it says 1.0. But maybe I messed up my installation. I just removed everything and reinstalled it by first installing MediaPortal, then the precompiled snapshots and then the TVSeries plugin. Now I rescanned my folder and it recognized all my series, and Doctor Who too, it aksed me if it was the old of the new one and after selecting the old one it impoted them fine and now they show up in the details pane, before they didn't.

So I guess I was running the latest version, since it showed up everywhere, but I must have messed it up or something? It works great now :D Thnx for all the help :D

Had a similar issue, deleting the episodes from the TVSeries detail pane and rescanning fixed it and it downloaded the new episode image and details.

    HTH,
