I'm having some problems with some of my HD movie files (some work some don't and some stutter a bit) i'm also not sure if im making full use of the Hardware Decoding of the HD2400.

I'd like to know the setup of anybody that has everything working with the HD2400 (or HD2600).
What codecs are you using and how did you do the setup? Thanks

I've an ATI HD 2400 Pro made by Sapphire. I executed the script listed on the AVS forum link (there's a .vbs file you can download). And installed CCCP (Codec Pack). That's it. No pre- or postprocessing, nothing. Sometimes the image stutters a little bit. I selected VMR9 for videoplayback and chose one of the filtering modes (I think Gaussian), that improved my image big time. I'm now going for a HD2600XT since the HD2400 has a noise problem (which can't be fixed).

Good stuff the .vbs file on the AVS forum works good!
Also a fresh install helped!

Maybe it wil help someone:

Installed:
.vbs file on the AVS forum (hack for the HD2X00 card)
FFDShow
Halli Media Splitter
PowerDVD Ultra 7.3
AC3 Filter
Latest video driver for my card (HD2400 Pro)
Updated XP
Latest drive for my Audiocard
Latest drivers for motherboard
Media Portal 0.2.3.0 + SVN

Settings:
Video codec: FFDShow
Audio codec: FFDAudio
HD codec: PowerDVD

And now all works great for me! (I did make sure the correct codec were working in MP with GraphEdit and GSpot)
Let me know if anybody needs some info.
