Does anyone use any other satellites (i.e. other than 28.2e) for English Speaking Channels? (1 Viewer)

Hello,

I have two satellite dishes on my house and one is currently not doing anything.

I was wondering whether it would be worth trying to point it at another satellite dish for any additional English speaking channels.

I did try 19.2e and 13.0e years ago but they did not offering anything substantial in English.

I have heard that 7w and 26e are both worth considering if you can get them (I have an original digidish and am based near London).

Has anyone had any experience of these or any other satellites worth considering?

Why not buy a diseqc motor!
Since you already have two dishes, one can still be pointed to 28,2 for recordings while the movable dish can point to any sat you want.
You obviously also need another tuner in your pc.

That is a fantastic idea (never thought about doing that before) - I shall head over to the hardware section for some advice on what I will need.
