I am just wondering if MP can support HDTV channel. Even if a decoder would work I can't seem to find the HDTV channels because MP doesn't seem to identify them.
According to this website (http://digitalekabeltelevisie.nl/techniek/tvhome.shtml) my provider (@home) has set the HDTV channels of another type. The normal channels are of type 1 (digital tv service) and are identified by MP no problem. The HDTV channels are of type 25 (reserved for future use) and are apparently not seen by MP. Another program like MyTheatre scans all channels and also sees the HDTV channels with which the QAM256 doesn't even seem to matter.
Now I would really like to experiment with HDTV in MP and the hardware seems to work (FireDTV), but somehow MP doesn't see the channels.
Anyone have a solution?
