Hi all,

I'm having some issues with data not being imported from thetvdb.com. I've read the FAQ, done some searching both here and on thetvdb website, but I'm unsure of the cause / solution.

I'm trying to import a Spanish series called 'Callejeros Viajeros'. There is a single entry on thetvdb.com (series ID 106781, taken from the URL).

All the data appears correctly on the website, but after correctly selecting the series during the MP-TV series import process, no episode data is shown (see attached jpg). Upon completing the import, no series or epsiode data, banners etc are displayed. I've already tried deleting and rebuilding the MP-TV Series database.

I have posted a question on the 'thetvdb' forum asking about the 'lid' string that appears in the URL. I noticed that if you remove the 'lid=16' string form the URL, it displays the same 'lack of data' that I see in mediaportal. This doesn't happen if you remove the lid string from something like Dexter

It's also worth noting that the series duration is ridiculously long; 114 episodes in season 2. Could this cause any problems?

Can anyone elaborate if this is a plugin bug or a problem with the source data (or any other possibilities)? This is the only series with which I've had problems.

Thanks,

Nick

I was just in the process of modifying my question. I did spectactularly over complicate the problem.

I have successfully changed the language to Spanish and imported some episodes. Is there no way to set a language on a per-series basis?

I'd be surprised if I'm the only person who has a mixture of languages in their series. It's not the end of the world, but it's a bit of a pain to have to enter configuration, every time I want to add something that isn't in English.

If there isn't a work around, where can I make a feature request?

It's not possible to only do this for specific series. But I don't think it's a problem. I have selected german. If series information is not availabe in german, it automatically displays everything in english. If the series gets a german translation, than everything get turned to german. I don't have to do anything. It should be the same for you with spanish.
