Does the plugin scan the foldername or filename? (1 Viewer)

I have been using movingpictures for quite some time now and have built myself quite a database.

I'd like to know though, can the plugin scan for folders rather than files?

I have a few mkv files with some cryptic naming conventions to keep it short. So for example, Lord of the rings will just be lotr.mkv. I have to manually search for it... Say for example though I make a folder called Lord of the rings and move lotr.mkv in there, will the plugin find the information based on the folder or file?

From what I remember, this can be changed in settings. You can specify that the scanner should look for folder names, before filenames.

That being said, why don't you just change the filename :-P

by default it will use the folder name if the contents is only one movie (can be multiple video's that are joined)
