I can finally view TV and have a working EPG but alas issues go on- MediaPortal doesn't record. It asks me if I want to recorde live TV, It tells me it has set futrue recordings, when I have 2 recordings set and try to watch them it will start each station but they soon stop with the following error: "time shifting stopped due to a scheduled recording. Only I don't end up with a recording.
Some help please, as this has been a long and so far futile struggle for anything other than the the much maligned Windows Vista MCE which although I can't make it look like I want it at least does what it is advertised to (after some googling and tinkering anyway), nothing else does even that at least so far.
Logs attached both tv server and mediaportal as I can't even find which I should be using to try to figure this out.
