It will behave this way by default, as the decoder's should only send whatever speaker setup they are receiving from the source.

So just set evey thing in 5.1 and the sepeaker will work just as you wont.

the sub speaker is the the 0.1, this is because it is a non directional speaker and as far as i know this is sampled from the other channels into a "mono" then passed throught a low pass Audio filter. So this mean that you are realy just getting 2.0 all the time and the sub just makes it 2.1
