Dolby Headphone possible? (with powerdvd audio codec or Windvd?) (1 Viewer)

Hi i hope a codec specialist can help me here:

i want to have the dolby Headphone feature for watching movies and Tv via my Headphones. (my reciever doesnt have this feature)
The only two codecs i know that have this feature are windvd and Powerdvd.

It works if i use powerdvd or windvd to play a movie with ac3, but inside mediaportal it doesnt work...

I tried the following: (with saf 6 --> lavf-splitter)

Using powerdvd 11 -> no possibility to select dolby headphone (via mediaportal config or with graphedit)
Using powerdvd 10 -> i can select it inside Mepo config or graphedit to use dolby Headphone, but it doesnt work while playing movie inside mp , no sound (movie with ac3).

Same with powerdvd7

Windvd 8 has no setting for dolby headphone...


Is anybody using it ?
And how?
Is Lavf splitter the problem?
or something else? Perhaps with postprocessing?

I dont know and hope somebody knows if this is even possible...

so it seems to work with nvidia pure video /audio platinum codec, only dts dosnt work...will try it some days and then this can be closed.

i also found out that its possible to use powerdvd as a postprocessing filter. But only Stereo in MP!
For this, ffdshwow audio has to be configured to Lpcm 16 bit, no passtrogh and the swap channel should be configured like this:
Front left -> front left
Front center -> front right
Front right -> front center
Side left -> side left
Side right -> side right
Back left -> LFE
Back center -> back right
Back right -> back left
LFE -> back center

And then in mp config under video postprocessing select powerdvd audio decoder. So the powerdvd codec can connect to ffdhshow.

Problem is that only stereo works this way, i can select what i want in the powerdvd codec settings... But it works with mpc-hc player (with powerdvdaudiodecoder as external filter)
