Hi,
I was just browsing some 1.0.2 sources when I hit two files that I was happy to see:

VideoPlayerVMR7.cs
VMR7.cs

As my graphics card isn't nearly dx9 compatible I'd love to switch back to vrm7 ('cause that's working generally while vmr9 is not)

I've been told that it was removed Jan '06 ( MEDIAPORTAL - free media center - HTTP Error 404 *)
what would be a version 0.2.0 or something,
but it's still there isn't it?

Now I'd love to know how to re-activate vmr7 and deactivate vmr9
please...

Oh look preinserted informations, that may not be of any use right now....

The decision has been made to drop support for VMR 7 rendering and this has now been removed from MediaPortal as of today.

It has long been a requirement of MediaPortal to have a DirectX 9 hardware capable graphics card for the GUI interface etc. Since all DirectX 9 capable cards can use VMR9 the decision was a simple one. This allows for cleaner code and simpler support.

CVS users would have seen the new overlay feature while video is not fullscreen which VMR9 easily allows.
