double Tuner config ? (1 Viewer)

hi, another "problem" occured.
my digital devices cine S2 has 2 tuners on one card.
as i tried to program some recording i found out, that i cant program 2 recordings on same time.

mayber there is another configuration necessary to tell media portal to use my tuners simultaniously.
maybe somebody can give me an hint?

Sorry, eine doofe Frage von mir: Natürlich verschlüsselt, da in Österreich. Ich glaube das geht nicht, da ein CAM mehreren (2) Tunern zugeordnet wurde.
Will heißen Kascadiert. Es gibt / gab hier im Forum dazu einen Thread.

Unless you don't use really crappy technology the use of a CAM does not mean that you can't record two encrypted channels at the same time. No need to work with cascaded setups.

Ok, maybe my Alphacrypt CAM is a little out of time. Which CAM would you recommend?

An AC should work. I know for sure that a Deltacam or a Maxcam (even V1) have no problem. Make sure that the CAM is linked to each tuner. For DD cards you do this by using the DD Config tool.

You are showing the settings within MePo. If you config within the DD Config Tool, aren´t we talking about cascading (=one CAM several tuners)?

That's not cascading. The same CAM is linked to each tuner . It is subject to the CAM capabilities how many channels can be decrypted simultaneously. Cascading means that you use two or more CAMs with different cards at the same time. And you NEED to activate the CAM for each tuner with the DD tool - or it will not work.
