"Downloading subtitle file failed, access to search path denied" (1 Viewer)

I just tried the subtitle downloader, but it does not work
"Downloading subtitle file failed, access to search path denied". Last part of the sentence I translated from swedish ;-)

What is wrong?

I *think* it means it tried to save the subtitle, but was denied write acess to where it wanted to write it to.

At this point, the internal subtitles downloader is no longer being worked on and will be removed completely, instead subcentral is being nicely integrated. They are the experts on subtitles and we let them handle it.

So I would suggest you try their plugin (as I said, it integrates with MPTVseries nicely).

How do I set preferred download path in subtitle downloader?

I also tried the plugin, but that does not seem to work in my skin
Manual subtitle download works, but in that case I can do as I have before, download the subtitle and mix with the film/TV-series.

subCentral works really well with Tv-series for me, running an SVN version of TV-Series, so this is gonna be good

OK, I suppose subtitle downloader tries to download the subtitle in the same folder as the TV-series and it is read only (on a server).
I will set that folder to read and write and see if I get lucky ;-)

Now it works

But I had to add subtitle option in in FFdshow for the subtitle to show up.
