Drive detection! (1 Viewer)

This isn't really a problem, just very frustrating. Why does the mp configuration program insist on adding detected cd/dvd drives to the movie, music & pictures folders whenever the configuration program is started. I don't want these visible and everytime I change an option have to go through each and manually remove the detected drives, surely a tick box to prevent detection isn't too much trouble?

This looks like a very old post but my search only returned this thread. Has this removal of detected drives been adressed?

Nope. I am running 0.2.3 w/ a recent SVN, and I still have to remember to remove detected drives every time.

It's really a pain when one of the drives is a Daemon mounted ISO on the network, and the wireless connection is unreliable. It can lock up MP just going to a share view, so I make it a habit to always remove them. Plus, esthetically I don't want them in the list.

Bummer. Hopefully the tick box idea that bug suggested will get implemented at some point.

I have this problem aswell. Very annoying.
