Thanks for clarifying that. I thought I was going crazy... :) Well thanks for your help I figured it out! You were right... my Speaker Config wasn't right in the 'Direct Show Filter Control' -> 'PowerDVD 6 Controller Settings'... it was only set for 2 Speaker stereo. Weird I thought I had it right at one time, but it seems to work well now! Also funny how the AC3 filter was being used and seemed to be bypassing this for AC3 source... and even though I have DTS checked in the AC3filter config that's not being used... it's using the 'Audio Renderer' for DTS and the 'Audio Decoder' for AC3.... I don't really understand the difference between Audio Renderer and Audio Decoder but I guess it doesn't matter if it's all working now! :) Thanks for all your help! I'm really happy I've been able use MediaPortal for a couple of weeks now with no more Windows Media Center! And no more Media Player Classic for the .MKV high def stuff! I love the way MediaPortal works -extremely well- with my MCE remote! And I love now being able to be on Open Source software! Thanks to the dev team and all the great support around here! :)
