The problem is I get the good ol' "unable to create graph" when trying to tune the card through MP setup. I noticed in plenty of thread that there were many people still trying to get over this problem

Can someone pleeeease help???

Please change the carddefinition file to that

Dont forget to install the latest drivers from Leatek site.

I'm in the same situation as Danger55.

Tried your capturecardsdefinitions.xml entry Bilis4.
Unfortunately it gave me the same problem I got when I tried to come up with my own using the wiki guide.
Now the graphing isn't the problem, it's finding the device.

Code:
<capturecard commercialname="LeadTek WinFast DTV2000H Analogue" capturename="WinFast DTV2000 H WDM Video Capture." devid="ven_14f1&dev_8800&subsys_665E107d&rev_05">
<capabilities tv="true" radio="false" mpeg2="true" mce="false" sw="false" bda="false" />
  <tv>
    <interface cat="mux" video="" audio="" mpeg2="0" />
    <filters>
	<filter cat="tvtuner" name="WinFast DTV2000 H WDM TVTuner." checkdevice="true" />
	<filter cat="tvaudio" name="WinFast DTV2000 H WDM TV Audio." checkdevice="true" />
	<filter cat="crossbar" name="WinFast DTV2000 H WDM Crossbar." checkdevice="true" />
	<filter cat="capture" name="WinFast DTV2000 H WDM Video Capture." checkdevice="true" />
	<filter cat="audcapture" name="%soundcard%" checkdevice="true" />
	<filter cat="videncoder" name="LeadTek MPEG Video Encoder" checkdevice="false" />
	<filter cat="audencoder" name="LeadTek Audio Encoder" checkdevice="false" />
	<filter cat="mux" name="Leadtek MPEG Muxer" checkdevice="false" />
    </filters>
    <connections>
	<connection sourcefilter="tvtuner" sourcepin="0" sinkfilter="crossbar" sinkpin="%tvtuner%" />
	<connection sourcefilter="tvtuner" sourcepin="1" sinkfilter="tvaudio" sinkpin="0" />
	<connection sourcefilter="tvaudio" sourcepin="0" sinkfilter="crossbar" sinkpin="%audiotuner%" />
	<connection sourcefilter="crossbar" sourcepin="0" sinkfilter="capture" sinkpin="0" />
	<connection sourcefilter="capture" sourcepin="0" sinkfilter="videncoder" sinkpin="0" />
	<connection sourcefilter="audcapture" sourcepin="0" sinkfilter="audencoder" sinkpin="1" />
	<connection sourcefilter="videncoder" sourcepin="0" sinkfilter="mux" sinkpin="0" />
	<connection sourcefilter="audencoder" sourcepin="0" sinkfilter="mux" sinkpin="1" />
    </connections>
  </tv>
</capturecard>

Thats the code as it appears in my definitions.xml file, word for word.
I'm a complete amateur at this, but the only things I can see that seems out of place is a few names wrapped in '%', but I wouldn't know what to use off the top of my head anyway.

I've been fiddling around trying to edit the capturecarddefinitions.xml file but I'm not sure if I'm doing it correctly. I found the part of the file that I need to replace with what bilis4 posted but how do I actually replace the text??

I can't edit the .xml file- I can open it with notepad and edit but how do I actually edit the xml file??

An XML file is just a structured text file. So you can open it up in Wordpad or notepad to edit it.

I'm still getting the same error message.
I removed "PVR2". Tried it with "PVR", tried it without either, same effect.
Using the latest drivers (DTV2000H-Drivers-4-0-112-3221-WHQL).

Code:
  <capturecard commercialname="LeadTek WinFast DTV2000H Analogue" capturename="WinFast DTV2000 WDM Video Capture." devid="ven_14f1&dev_8800&subsys_6651107d&rev_05">
	<capabilities tv="true" radio="false" mpeg2="true" mce="false" sw="false" bda="false"/>
	<tv>
	  <interface cat="mux" video="" audio="" mpeg2="0"/>
	  <filters>
		<filter cat="tvtuner"		name="WinFast DTV2000 WDM TVTuner."			checkdevice="true"/>
		<filter cat="tvaudio"		name="WinFast DTV2000 WDM TV Audio."		checkdevice="true"/>
		<filter cat="crossbar"		name="WinFast DTV2000 WDM Crossbar."		checkdevice="true"/>
		<filter cat="capture"		name="WinFast DTV2000 WDM Video Capture."	checkdevice="true"/>
		<filter cat="audcapture"	name="%soundcard%"							checkdevice="true"/>
		<filter cat="videncoder"	name="LeadTek MPEG Video Encoder"			checkdevice="false"/>
		<filter cat="audencoder"	name="LeadTek Audio Encoder"			checkdevice="false"/>
		<filter cat="mux"			name="Leadtek MPEG Muxer"					checkdevice="false"/>
	  </filters>
	  <connections>
		<connection sourcefilter="tvtuner"		sourcepin="0" sinkfilter="crossbar"		sinkpin="%tvtuner%"/>
		<connection sourcefilter="tvtuner"		sourcepin="1" sinkfilter="tvaudio"		sinkpin="0"/>
		<connection sourcefilter="tvaudio"		sourcepin="0" sinkfilter="crossbar"		sinkpin="%audiotuner%"/>
		<connection sourcefilter="crossbar"		sourcepin="0" sinkfilter="capture"		sinkpin="0"/>
		<connection sourcefilter="capture"		sourcepin="0" sinkfilter="videncoder"	sinkpin="0"/>
		<connection sourcefilter="audcapture"	sourcepin="0" sinkfilter="audencoder"	sinkpin="0"/>
		<connection sourcefilter="videncoder"	sourcepin="0" sinkfilter="mux"			sinkpin="0"/>
		<connection sourcefilter="audencoder"	sourcepin="0" sinkfilter="mux"			sinkpin="1"/>
	  </connections>
	</tv>
  </capturecard>

Thats the original code which Media Portal 0.2.2 CaptureCardDefinitions.xml comes with.
The main differences are the devid, and changing "DTV2000 WDM" to "DTV2000 H WDM", which all makes sense according to GraphEdit. So it should work.

Did you also change the Digital BDA entry, Yannis?
I appreciate your help, this is driving me nuts.

I realise you can open and ecit the xml file in notepad, but does that also mean that when you hit save, the original xml file will be edited?

Hi Guys,

First of all the code that is in Rolarevic mail is wrong.There is a difference between the subsys_6651107d and the corect which is subsys_665E107d

Also WinFast DTV2000 WDM TVTuner must be WinFast DTV2000 H WDM TVTuner
and it must applies to all.

PVR is the original software that came with the card

OK- I checked the capturecarddefinitions.xml file and the code IS already 665E107d.

And I was looking through for Winfast DTV2000 WDM TVTuner and it already has an "h" in it.

Any other suggestions on what to try. This is driving me nuts!! (but I'm really appreciating the help)
