Dual Tuners - cannot record simultaneous programs (1 Viewer)

Hello,

I have installed a Kworld dual tuner DVB-T 399U (USB) with the latest Windows 7 certified driver and MediaPortal V1.1.2. Both tuners are visible and mapped in MP.

I can select simultaneous programs for recording in the Program Guide, but only one program is recorded.

Solutions or suggestions are most welcome.

Did you set timeshifting\recording folders for both tuners, there is a button to use the same for both tuners.

Are all of the channels available/mapped to both tuners ? (e.g run the channel scanning on both tuners in TV server config)

(I use exactly the same tuner myself, so I know it works OK with MP)

The most common cause of this issue is that the user does a Scan on Tuner1, but not map the channels to Tuner2 as well.

MP can not do that automatically, because it does not know if the 2nd Tuner is attached to the same antenna/sat-dish.

Thank you everyone. Problem resolved.

All the steps suggested above had been done, but even though I hadn't set timeshifting\recording folders for both tuners, both showed the same default directory.

After I clicked the button to "use the same directory for both tuners" everything worked.
