Hi all,

Just got MediaPortal, really impressed looks amazing and lookslike it will do all i need. Just a quick noob question which i've searched for unsuccessfully so far but really sorry if i've missed it....

The VLC plugin which is part of the initial install....should that work within MP? When i enable it, configure does nothing...is that right?

The basic difference would be: When you play video content it will start VLC (if you installed it) for playback instead of using the internal player.

OKay thanks... i must be missing something as far as getting it to work goes then...
