DVB-C EPG does not fill dbo.program.episodeName (1 Viewer)

Hi,

In table dbo.program the column [episodeName] is always empty, not NULL, just empty:

My cable TV provider is KabelAustria (KabelPlus). I did a fresh install of Mediaportal 1.3.0.0 Alpha and grab EPG data via DVB-C. Database is on a MS SQL Server 2008R2. The issue I describe here is pending from the very first MediaPortal installation I did about 3 years ago...


Does anyone have good idea on this?

Hi,

Please take a look at the screen shot. Instead of "Zu Tode gemakeltKriminalserie" it should read "Zu Tode gemakelt" "Kriminalserie". Where "Kriminalserie" is the Genre and "Zu Tode gemakelt" is the [episodeName] in dbo.program.

I would be very happy if someone could point me to a solution.

I think thats a problem with the DVB EPG from some TV channels. I had the same issue with it and use Clickfinder EPG now.

I believe there is no fault from DVB-C EPG because I get this on all channels. I am wondering that there is no space character between title and comment. Maybe the EPG grabber is looking for a wrong delimiter and does so a n inocrrect SQL insert?

BTW, my Toshiba TV set displays the same EPG correctly.
