dvb-stream epg broken? (1 Viewer)

hi folks,

i was wondering if the ability to grab epg data from dvb stream is broken.
this is svn # 16049 for both mediaporta & tvserver3

try as i might but it's not grabbing the epg.

i basically select a channel that reside on the transponder that has epg data (this case would be PUNCH on bev82, also tried SCORE) click "refresh epg data" and left it for hours.

nothing. any tips will be greatly appreciated

Check the TIMEOUT maybe it has changed, should work either at 12 or 15, found new install at 10 default which did not work here.

I also had this with one channel not getting info, the only way i could get it working was to delete the database and start over, actually went through all the db and could not find a discrepancy why the one channel would not get epg, even after useing the reset button..

anyways...i've attached some log files if you folks can give me a hand. such a great app but yet 1 minor problem.

My EPG for NA stopped working as well - for me it wasn't getting the EPG while idle. To get the epg I would select "PUNCH" and "SCORE" channels and click on Refresh EPG and it would eventually get the EPG but I would have to do that manually every day otherwise it wouldn't fetch. I went back to 11-03 nightly build and everything works as it should.

Nightly builds I've tried so far:

11-03 - Works
11-17 - doesn't work
11-22 - doesn't work

I'm not sure exactly which nightly build broke this function but I'll take a look at the changelogs.

The OTA EPG is defintely broken - I can only get EPG when I manually go into TV Server and click on Refresh EPG; TV Server no longer grabs the EPG when the system is idle...

I've seen this reported several times - is there anything I can provide to help troubleshoot this? Since it's supposed to grab every 240 minutes would the overnight EPG log be helpful?

Here are the log files - looking at the log files it appears the epg is being read from the stream but for some reason the epg is empty... Any help would be greatly appreciatted.

Does anybody see anything in the logs that would indicate why the epg is not getting populate? Is this a NA phenomena only? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
