Dvb-t and smart card help (2 Viewers)

Hi guys,I would like to know if is possible connect a smart card reader to the hauppauge hrv 1300 dvb-t.
Where I have to connect my smart card reader?Directly on the tv card or in one usb connection on the mother board?
If is not possible which tv card I have to buy?

I think you mean a 'Conditional Access Module' (CAM) and no the Hauppauge HVR-1300 does not provide this support.
If you wish to 'decrypt' scrambled channels you need to buy a card which has a 'Common Interface'.
Then you buy a 'CAM' for your subscription to work with your providers 'subscription card'.

From a swedish discussion thread I have learnt that it will use a plugin from Cyberlink called TV Enhance, replacing "My TV" in MCE.
