I am having a problem with scanning the DVB-T (digitenne, The Netherlands) signals. The TT-connect card is detected without any problem by MP. When scanning for the DVB-T signal, the signal strength is low, and the quality is low. This results in 0 found channels. I don't understand why:confused:! When i am using my normal decoder the signal strength and quality is High, thus that can't be a problem. Can anybody help me...?

Hi,

The card is using a software decoder for mpeg2. But the is nog really the problem, the problem is that it doesn't find a DVB-T signal in MP. The card is working fine in the TT-media software (default manufacturer).

Did you get it to work with MP?

Tried to figure out where the error lies.
Could be a digitenne settings file error, but I don't have Digitenne, so can't really help you.

Anyone with digitenne out there? :)

I found a couple of setting used by the TT-media software:

16 QAM
8 Mhz bandwidth
Inversion: Auto

Frequenties with full signal en quality:

546 Mhz
554 MHz
570 Mhz
754 Mhz
786 Mhz

I might have found a solution, for now it is working.

I made some minor changes in the dvbt.xml file

Original:
<country name="Netherlands - All Regions">
<carrier frequency="177500" />
</country>

Changed:
<country name="Netherlands - All Regions" offset="0">
<carrier frequency="177500" bandwidth="8" />
</country>

off course for the complete list of frequencies.

Nice! Might de useful to share this file.
This way other people using digitenne can also profit.
This can de added to the SVN build and will be in RC4.
Please send a PM to Bavarian, then he can add this to the SVN build.
