Dvb-t ok, but no analog channels (1 Viewer)

Hi,

i've installed MediaPortal 1.0 RC4 without problems. It works well with the dvb-t channels, but i can't access the analog channels. I tried to create a group (it's a hybrid card) and put the dvb-t and analog part in it, and tried to use without it, but i can only use the dvb-t. The channel scan for analog doesn't find anything under "TV Servres". Under "TV Channels" there are all of the dvb-t channels, and CVBS #1 on 2, CVBS #2 on 2, ....
I've changed the video/audio decoder in the MediaPortal Configuration under "Television" to Compro Decoder (that was shipped with the card), but still nothing.
I searched the forum, but i could find only these:

Hi Daniel, Welcome to MP

This is not a hybrid card, as both tuners can be used at the same time

Take it Analog part may be software encoding, for this you will need mpeg2 encoders, these are available with WinDVR, just download the trial from cnet.com.

Yes the card doesn't have hardware mpeg2 encoder, but that is, why i was tried to use the Compro encoder (in MP config in Menu "Television") (that was installed with the card) in MediaPortal. But it seems to me, that MP can't "communicate" with the analog part of the card, because it doesn't show the analog TV channels. The card is detected; under "TV Servers" there is 2 items. And if i set the frequency of channel manually, it doesn't happen anything.
I give a try to WinDVR

Make sure any hybrid settings you may have made are deleted, otherwise you may not get the card detected correctly, worst scenario, uninstall TVServer from control panel, delete the database, reinstall and start again.

Thanx, but neither WinDVR, nor reinstalling everyhing had really help.

I am also using a ComPro hybrid tuner and I get similiar problem. I also tried WinDVR and re-install but neither could help. I find there is a serious of repeated errorm message in the log, which seems to be thrown during Analog Channel scanning:

nice to hear, that not only i have this tv-card
As a last try, i'm going to configure the analog channels manually, but i need some help. Could someone please tell me, in which config file and which parameters should i put for the channels? (Is this generally a good solutions?)

@devilkoala: do you use ComproDTV4 for your card? I have the annoying bug by changing between analog and digital channels. Sometimes the software crashes, or it can't record anything...

I tried the ComproDTV4 bundled with the card, but the UI sucks and it has no hardware acceleration on H.264 so I didn't use it anymore...
