The SS2 plugin and supporting DLL is based around XP.
Hence probably why you're seeing the problems.

you maybe right. I hope Santa claus is bringing me XP Pro. So I can test MP and the SS2 plugin with XP. But its still running, but with my problems with w2k. OK, I will see forward with XP.

I'll be writing a guide in the Wiki tomorrow outlining how to set it up etc.

But just to confirm...

You need Windows XP
Latest TechniSat 4.3.0 drivers
Also Setup4PC needs to be running
Ensure dvblib.dll - is in the Windows\System32 directory

Also the latest CVS has these bug fixes which will be included in 0.1.0.3.

Agree wrote: "you can skip scrambled channels now, and it saves all when you press ok. and you can make little modifications on the channels..."

Oh and the latest CVS fixes the MFC71D.DLL bug too.

I thin channel skipping is to fast, you can't select the button, press left and ok (+1) + ok (+1) + ok (+1) in one second :evil: or is the mce remote not supported, every time I will push the button it changed back to "channel" and not to the next program.

there r some problems using timeshifting.
Some channels whill hang MP or show a black screen.
With timeshifting off it's all ok. (not even black tv4pc windows popping up)

Interesting thing to know is that not timeshifting uses Overlay
and timeshifting uses VMR9.

Could be an issue here as well.

atm its like Roulette if its working or not. Whole day only NvidiaDVD gets a working image (others just caught the blah4tv-window with complete lockup), now even WinDVD6-codecs work well when viewing/recording/timeshift (nothing changed on pc/configuration). Strange thing here: Every channelswitch up/down in fullscreen let mp fall back to preview mode (like x, channel is changed too ,-) ). After another restart this was gone but came back after some minutes.

Ending TV on mainscreen by pressing B works fine within 1 sec, the same keypress inside mytv sometimes end up in another lockup or tv-window gets black for about a sec und then continious.

S3-standby does not work for mp after the ss2 was used (and ended with B) in mp. After wake up mp is completely closed without error message ans taskbar is missing. Without using the ss2 bevor mp comes up as normal.
This can be prevented by closing server4PC bevor. After back from s3 now mp is still active but switching to mytv cause another full mp-lockup. *dooh*

EDIT: atm after standby the ss2 works for about 2 sec and then cause even a mp-lockup (WinDVD6-codec). Same with NvidiaDVD.

k, the problems with the window popping up r codec problems.
These codecs causing this cannot handle VMR9 + some sat streams.
Even the default app for sat reverts to overlay when using these codecs.
So it's not a fault in MP.

Codecs confirmed working are:
Nvidia DVD
Nero mpg2
elecard

Other all work when using overlay during timeshifting (you need latest CVS code for this)
