Do you have the latest drivers for the SS2? I also had the issue of no response when scanning but ofter upgrading to the 4.3.0 driver it worked. Iwas on 4.2.11 before and it did not work.

Driver and source filter version 4.3.0.9999.

Other apps work fine, including the Technisat app and some simple apps I have written with the sdk.

The tray icon is running and it is able to scan transponders.

I still can't find where lnb settings are set (like the lof's, sw fr etc) as these are not always the same. Depends on the lnb. Is this stuff hard coded in?

Agree: I see the fast progress implementing/integrating an SS2 Interface.
Do you plan to add support for the (Low)Budged Card's (Hauppauge Nova etc) too ?

what's about airstar2? Will the card be support in the near future? I think it is the same driver as it is used by skystar2.

For me it is the last step to a full-working htpc. If there is some stuff to test with airstar2, I would like to do it.

Agree: Did you use an example for the SS2 programming or have you only got the API? Maybe there is also an API for the Nove cards (and you saw it - I'm a liitle lost searching a lib or an API for the nova. (and also an usable cpp/C# example

The Nova will be done with the BDA drivers and that is being worked on by Bionicdonkey:

Hi Agree,

thanks for your great work, though I'm only judging it by the extremely positive user feedback it gets. I have an AirStar2 DVB-T and as ordinary73 and eagle I can't wait to see it supported.

You said in one of your previous posts you only deactivated the support for this card until you solve a few issues with it. Are you still planning on enabling it and if yes, do you already have an idea when you'll release it to us, the DVB-T hungry public? :wink:

I love Media Portal and the support for AirStar2 is the last step to get my HTPC (no pun intended) to work...

Just joined these forums, great work ppl!

I managed to get the SS2 to work in MP, ty agree. I edited a .ini file to make it work on 7* East Eutelsat satellite. It scanned and found the channels fine

Can't wait till the next implemented release, any timescale for it?
