DVBs: (Skystar2) Very first beta for try on sourceforge (3 Viewers)

tried latest anonymous-CVS, my TVDatabaseV12.db boosts up to 212MB (!), shows max 3 entries in EPG per channel. Maybe thats a reason 4 beeing slow ? Atm whatching isnt possible because of several small lags while tv is activated. CPU isnt limiting, its at a max of 55% in fullscreen.

got a solution fixing the problem with this error message (onedutch posted also):

COM object with CLSID {2DB47AE5-CF39-43C2-B4D6-0CD8D90946F4} is either not valid or not registered.

This hex-cod is related to the streambuffersink-filter.

I downloaded the sbe.dll-File http://www.dlldump.com/download-dll-files.php/dllfiles/S/sbe.dll/download.html.

NOw it works...

Hello David07,

Are you asking Musiktodd if it worls under win 2000? Or are you announcing that it is working for you under a w2000 environment?

I tried it to download the dll and register it. I can add the ss2 card with a Error saying "unspecified error". If I press OK so that the configure files is saved. Then my DB viewer gives errors like "EAccessViolation raised etc etc Modul Sky2PCAVrc.ax lesen from Adresse" etc etc.

And doesn;t working anymore. To recover from this I'll disable the ss2 card in device manager and enable the card again. Then DVBviewer works again, until i try settings in the configure fole of MP.



Still searching.

I am now testing the version 1.0.6 ....

Edit:
After a small test it does not work on windows 2000 with this version...
I have tried to install the sbe.dll file but it doesn't solve the problem.

Hi,
i just upgraded to the new Version of Media Portal, and i have a question about getting EPG with SS2.
In the Sykstar2 Settings, i can`t check the box "Grab EPG Data". It`s gray colored, and i can`t click on it.
Is this a problem with my setup here, or is this function disabled?

And when i try to grab the EPG from the configure dialog, it doesn`t saves the settings from which channel it should grab. So when i restart the Configure Tool, again all channels are marked.

Yepp, the grayed checkbox is normal. You can now grab on the separate tab. And that your selection isn´t saved is also normal, as this part is under heavy development. I´m sure agree will add this soon.

Re: Plugins

Question to Agree: Could you maybe see as to how difficult it would be to support MediaHighWay EPG data?? I think quite a lot of people will be pleased with this (Especially dutch people, cause they have Canal Digitaal)
I saw a plugin for it on DVB Portal site with Delphi sources.... (www.dvbportal.de)

I'd really love this option too....
Sky Italia sends 7 days epg with this format, and now I download the epg data, and save it to xmltv format using progdvb & epg4cplus, but it would be great if this could be available into MP....

It's in VB.Net and, maybe, it is possible to integrate part of code to develop a plugin o something else. If someone is interested, let me know how we can cooperate

It can export directly in XMLTV format
