Hi guys Im having DVD play back issues, Everything works apart from no sound, I've tried every combonation of codecs yet no joy. Tv plays fine, online videos plays fine same with music. Using HDMI out as my sound play back device. Using the lastest saf603. I have the HDMI out from the computer to TV the the Tv optical out to my stereo. I really need some help with this one.

Any chance of simplying a little while testing? A good first step would be to get sound working on the TV.

I take it you have set the audio renderer setting for DVD playback to the HDMI audio device (or default directsound device if that is the default audio renderer for Windows)?
Is this DD/AC3 or MPEG audio (logs would help)?

Hi problem has been found, It was the saf setting I selected while installing, reinstalled with right settings. Works a treat.
