dvd playback screen turns black Mp crashes (1 Viewer)

Hello just got my next problem using mediaportal. If i play a dvd i first have picture and sound but as soon as i comes to the next sequenz ( example from trailer to main menu) the screen turns blank and i only have sound. Sometimes it is possible to acces the control menu and switch to the next or the previous chapter. Doing so sometimes i get picture again but most of the time mp crashes and i can not acces menu or escape dvd playback.

I am wondering that i have so much problems since if i use the Vista Media Center almost everything runs without problems. It seems that i have to go back to MC despite it is not possible the set the audio output device for the different apps, one thing i really need to have.

Hope anyone can help now

I have the same problem, the intro is shown perfectly but only sound on DVD menu !
MP Ver : 1.0RC4
Video : onboard GeForce 9400@DVI
Sound : ALC889@optical
CPU : E7300
RAM : 2Gb
OS : Win XP SP3 + all fixes for now
Video codec : ffdshow
Audio code : ffdshow
