DVD Profiler 3.0 (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I have DVD Profiler 3.0 which changed the names of the nodes in the collection.xml file that it outputs. Is there a way I can edit My Files so that I can tell it the new names of the nodes it the XML file? It only seems to want to import DVD Profiler 2.4 XML files.

Can you attach an exemple of the new v3.0 xml format ?

What's the matter ? I try your xml example and it seems to work...
I attach the temporary xml file generated.

Thanks for looking into it. The file that you attached is for ANT and I am not sure what you are trying to show me. What version of My Films should I have installed?

I am very new to this and I will keep working on it.

I am reinstalling everything next week so I will update you then.

Thank you for your help up to this point. Here is where my errors stand right now.

I did a fresh install of MP RC3 and installed MyFilms 4.7.6 on a new install of Windows XP SP3. (I have a test PC that I can reimage when I need to)

When I try to import the sample collection.xml file the I sent I get errors and then the plugin does not function.

I have attached the the two error messages that are generated and a screenshot of the final message.

Can you post your Myfilms config file
(C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\MyFilms.xml)

That may be the problem. One is not created when I install the plugin.

There is no MyFilms.xml file in that directory.

Do you have a MyFilms.xml file in an other directory ?
In that case move it in the correct one :
(C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\)

There is no Myfilms.xml file anywhere on my PC.

Is this something that is supposed to be created when the plugin is installed? Is it a file you could send me and I just add it?
