Ok i've finally got mediaportal working stable and now suddenly the playback of DVD's have started stuttering even after a fresh reboot, I haven't changed anything to do with the dvd or movie settings... anyone know how to fix this...

i have suddenly the same problem. I installed RC3 and all works fine but suddenly my Audio stuttering bei DVD und LiveTV. Video is okay.

I'm gonna go for a full reinstall because after finally sorting s3 standby issues etc... my htpc is now full of crap and i think this may be the reason for the stuttering...

I am little bit frustrated. All works well in the past, but suddenly i can't watch live TV or watch DVD. Audio stutter ... :-(
Maybe any ms hotfix?

I found out the following now. If I watch live tv my pc write every 2 seconds anything at the harddisc (i think the timeshifting file) but if the pc write to the file my audio stutter in constant interval. Hope anybody can help me ...

Which audio codec do you use? Have you set the refresh rate of your video card in sync with the framerate of the DVD? In Europe for PAL-DVDs it is 50Hz.
