In all the DVDs I've tried - Region 4 PAL - when moving around sub menus the screen doesn't update to show your selection, even though the navigation is actually working correctly. So while I can move around menus, I can't actually see what I have selected. DVD navigator is the standard MP one.

The logs seem to show the problem. The first group (buttons:#3) is the main menu which functions correctly, while the next set is the sub menu which doesn't (I'm navigating blindly).

Could you try VMR7? Also could you post names of those movies, maybe I'll have some same movies and can try to reproduce this bug.
