My son is now on his 3rd Finding Nemo disk as they get used and abused and then almost unwatchable.</p><p></p><p>Decided I want to rip just the film and uk audio soundtrack with not a lot else to maximise disk space etc. It would also be a bonus to be able to cut the endless adverts etc from the begining - not essential though, just being impatient I suppose.</p><p></p><p>My questions are : What application would enable me to do this? and What is the best format of file?</p><p></p><p>If I can save disk space by cutting the ' fat ' from the original DVD I will have more space for higher quality (larger file) storage. I have been considering AVI's - any comments or suggestions.</p><p></p><p>I will be playing the files back through Media Portal so any config suggestions welcome too.
