I have bought the card as per the subject line and it works quite well in MCE 2005.

But due to the whole non-configurable nature of MCE 2005 I am trying out the fine product of Media Portal (rc2).

Anyway, can tune to channels etc,

However, only the navigation (up down left right and select) work, the back button, settings, play, stop etc do not work.

Any tips? Do i need to map all the keys?

Should I just RTFM?

I dont know about that remote specifically but usually when that happens you need to use a program such as girder to map the controls.

Yes, I think you will have to map the keys and use something like HIP to enable the Dvico remote to control MediaPortal. HIP is free, and I can highly recommend it....
