7000 does not support DX9. Only ATi 9500/9600-series and above/newer does (not 9000/9100/9200/9250).
For nVidia: FX5200 and above/newer (including all 6x00 models).
IOW: You are good to go...
spragleknas you were right, the radeon 7000 did not work with mediaportal.
and now comes the good part. i installed mp2 and then tried again mp0.2.3 and its working perfectly for 2 weeks now !!
i really dont know why but its just working...menus, films tvseries, music everything !!
and my old amd1400 is doing enough to do all the above so great !!
